Au Revoir Paris! Ziba Is On The Move

June 22, 2013

On Thursday, I hauled all my belongings, said my farewells and crossed the Atlantic on a plane with my cat.

And that already seems forever ago!

I’m still suffering from a bit of jet lag.

But this is how I’m dealing with the fatigue: staying happy and relaxed, keeping my skincare routine to the basic essentials, doing some breathing and stretching, drinking herbal teas and most importantly, avoiding alcohol at all costs!

I was too busy during the day of the flight to actually realize that I was leaving Paris for good.

It wasn’t until the following morning when I woke up in New York that it fully hit me…

No more fresh baguette and croissants for breakfasts, no more easy access to fantastic french beauty products, and no more walks along the Seine river.

So many things I’ll miss. But also, so many things to look forward to!

I’ll be in New York for a few days to visit family and friends. And then I’ll slowly make my way back down to my home in North Carolina.

During this transition period, I’ll try to keep regularly posting at least twice a week. And I promise I’ll do my best to keep it beauty-related.

In the meantime, stay in touch with me @ZibaByNature via twitter.

See you around, I hope 😉

Hey Ali, I did tear up a bit yesterday morning when it finally hit me. But I’m going to keep looking and moving forward. Thanks so much for the moral support! 🙂
